Registration is Now Open for the 2017 Outdoor & High School Program

As we begin our track programs 6th season, we are looking forward to maintaining our tradition of success and athletic achievement. Last year, we had 23 athletes qualify for the Junior Olympics, won 25 medals at the AAU Outdoor state championship and medaled in 6 events at National Championship in Orlando.

Our goal as a club is to improve our kids running abilities with good fundamental skills and technique, as well as, giving them a sense of hard work, dedication and responsibility.  We treat each child differently in regards to how they need to be motivated or supported, but all our kids learn how to run well and greatly improve their abilities and confidence. Lastly, we want to ensure the kids learn and appreciate the rules and regulations of Track & Field and introduce them to new aspects of track, such as field events.

In our program, all athletes will learn proper running technique and mechanics to improve their running efficiency. In addition, we will offer unique acceleration, quickness and reaction drills that are proven to transform an athlete’s speed. Our athletes train and participate in short, mid and long distance events, hurdles and all field events (including long, triple and high jump, shot put, discus, and javelin).

2017 Outdoor Youth Program

We will practice in the Ashburn/Leesburg area and expect the Club team to practice on Monday and Wednesday and the Elite team to practice on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.   We will have some Saturday practices early in the season before the meets begin.  Both the Elite and Club team will participate meets during the Outdoor Season.  Please refer to the FAQ for more information.

Registration is currently open for the Outdoor program for youth athletes ages 5 through High School.  The cost for the 2017 Outdoor season is $250 (Payment plans and financial need based scholarships are available).  Athletes are not required to participate in meets and may just train with the team.

We will continue to use the same uniforms as last year.  Athletes participating in meets are required to wear a uniform which can be purchased for $40.  Athletes with a uniform that fits from a previous season do not need to purchase a new one.

Registration Fees include all team training, meet fees, AAU membership and a USATF membership for athletes participating in a USATF meet.

2017 High School Program

Geared for the High School athlete that wants to train and participate in highly competitive meets during and/or after their High School season is completed.  High School athletes will train with USATF specialized coaches and have the opportunity to compete on a National level.  The athlete has the option to train in Sprints, Mid-distance or Long-distance running events, as well as Hurdles and Field events.  Our strength and conditioning programs are also included.  Our program and specialized training is designed for the serious High School Track athlete who is seeking scholarship opportunities and exposure.

The coaches realize the demands on High School athletes and are very flexible.  Most High School athletes begin when their High School season is over.  We do permit High School athletes to participate in any of our practices/meets during the High School season, as their schedule permits.

The team practices on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at local Schools and Indoor facilities. The cost for this program is $195 and includes all training, meet fees and uniform.

Coaching Staff

Our coaches and trainers generally hold a Level 1 or 2 USATF Certification.  Our coaches/trainers ran track at a high level, including High School State Championships, at the collegiate level and with two qualifying and participating in the US Olympic Trials.   Additionally, all of our coaches have passed an AAU background check.
